We are happy to announce the latest milestone in our efforts to make large language models (LLMs) universally accessible for all. This significant update marks a major leap forward in our commitment to inclusivity and global accessibility, with full application wide official translations and localizations now available for six languages:
This project continues to strive to break down barriers and ensure that everyone can harness the transformative potential of generative AI. With this latest release, our application is now more aligned with our vision than ever before – making it possible for users worldwide to access this technology in their native languages. Whether you're a developer from São Paulo, a researcher from Beijing, or a student in Rome, simply navigate to Settings > Language and Locale to select your preferred language and enjoy an experience tailored for your locale.
This release wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support and contributions from our global community. The feedback, suggestions, and direct contributions from our users have been invaluable in making GPT4All more accessible to non-English speakers.
We are deeply grateful to all our contributors who helped with translations, and we’re excited to continue working with you to improve and expand access to this technology.
Don't see your native language? You can collaborate on a translation of the open-source application with these instructions. Be sure to check the #translations channel on discord for the latest progress.
